The goods and services linked to this document are the goods and services that are displayed on our site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. Any information, descriptions or images we provide about our goods and services are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every product or service we provide. You agree to purchase these goods and services at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
Francis Dostie or one of its employees will be held responsible for any problem arising from this site. However, Francis Dostie, its subcontractors and its employees will not be held responsible for any problems arising from any improper use of this site.
Compensation

Applicable laws

Additional provisions
Access to video replays and other online course materials
Francis Dostie guarantees access to video replays and support materials for a minimum of 3 months for all programs, levels or online courses purchased.
This does not apply to online breathing sessions with offerings or donations.
Disclaimer for breathwork, active breathing and all other services offered
How you might feel during a breathwork experience
Active breathing is a powerful healing modality, and while it is generally a deeply relaxing and enjoyable process, it can bring about specific physiological changes in the body as well as intense physical and emotional release.
Please note that sessions can cause and are not limited to :
-Tingling
-Dizziness
-Trembling, shaking or other physical sensations
-Emotional experiences
-Experience energy moving through your body
Contraindications
-As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated for anyone planning to practice with Active Breathing:
-First trimester of pregnancy
-Detached retina or glaucoma
-Hypertension (not controlled by medication)
-Cardiovascular disease, including angina pectoris, previous heart attack or stroke
-Diagnosis of an aneurysm in the brain or abdomen
Uncontrolled thyroid disorders and diabetes
-Respiratory problems / Asthma
-Epilepsy / Convulsions
-Previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or other psychiatric disorders
-Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis in the last 10 years
-Any other medical, psychiatric or physical condition that would impair or affect the ability to engage in activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release
It’s essential that you consult your health care provider before committing to an active breathing practice if you’re unsure whether it’s right for you.
Waiver and release
It is the responsibility of each participant to look after his or her own physical, emotional and mental well-being.
We are not medical practitioners.
Francis Dostie assumes no responsibility for injuries you may sustain as a result of your participation in these sessions.
By booking any of our sessions, workshops or otherwise, you agree to the following waiver:
‘”I understand that if I am taking any medications or have any medical conditions such as, but not limited to, those contraindicated above, I must inform the instructor(s).
I certify that I have consulted a medical professional regarding any physical, mental or emotional condition that may interfere with my judgment or affect my health in any way during or after one or more sessions.
I understand and acknowledge that I am responsible for consulting my health care provider or physician if I have or suspect I have a health problem.
I understand that an accurate report of the above information is necessary to ensure that I have a safe and beneficial experience.
I realize that failure to provide accurate information may compromise my experience, and I have sincerely answered this form to the best of my ability.
I am responsible for my health and understand that my participation in these sessions may present certain risks.
To the best of my knowledge, I am in good physical condition and am not aware of any physical or psychological infirmity that would put me at risk of participating in any way.
In the event of a medical emergency, I agree to seek emergency medical care and give permission to initiate contact with emergency medical providers.
I will use appropriate support to maximize the benefit of this experience and minimize the risks.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in these sessions, I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE ALL LEGAL LIABILITY to the person responsible for these sessions, the organizers, hosts and participants from any liability, claim, demand or course of action arising out of, or in connection with, any loss, damage or injury, including death, which I may suffer, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by negligent release or otherwise, while participating in this event, or during, on or at the premises where the event takes place.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless those with whom I engage this work.
I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF LOSS, DAMAGE TO MATERIAL OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, which may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me by reason of my participation in the activities of the event, whether caused by the negligence of the release, or otherwise.”
I understand and acknowledge that I am fully responsible for all risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, that may arise as a result of my participation and hereby waive and release Francis Dostie from any and all claims, demands, causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in any program or sessions. It is with this understanding that I voluntarily accept this waiver.
Disclaimer for all advice shared by Francis Dostie and his partners
Francis Dostie and its business partners are NOT physicians or a medical institution.
Nothing said by Francis Dostie, its co-organizing employees, subcontractors, or guests should be construed as medical or psychiatric advice.
We may offer suggestions concerning physical and mental health – in the form of suggested exercises, daily practices, etc. – but this information is simply intended for the general public.

Furthermore, no recommendation or suggestion (whether specific or generic) should be considered as a medical diagnosis or treatment.

As with all physical activities, the application of active breathing and all related practices involves a certain degree of physical and mental risk.
Be aware of your own abilities and limitations, both physical and mental, and act accordingly.
If in doubt, always consult your health care professional before participating in an active breathing session.
Always observe the following precept: NEVER PERFORM ACTIVE BREATHING ACTIVITIES IN PLACES WHERE LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS (e.g. in water, standing, driving, etc.).
Photo rights
Photos taken by Francis Dostie, its co-creators, subcontractors, partners or any photographers hired during the holding of events, workshops, sessions, programs, retreats or other online or in-person events organized or co-organized by Francis Dostie are the property of Francis Dostie. Francis Dostie retains the right to use all photos of adults or minors participating in the above-mentioned services for marketing purposes for print, social media, website or other promotional means.
Modifications
These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our site and the way we expect users to behave on our site. We recommend that our users check these terms and conditions from time to time to ensure that they are aware of any updates.
