Program 02 | Philosophical discussions and watercolours for children aged 7 to 11

Description

During the first part of the workshop, they will have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills with the help of their inner feelings, and to increase their personal confidence by understanding concepts such as love, being at the service of others (including siblings and parents hihi), uniqueness, and so on.

After a short 2-minute meditation, the last 30-40 minutes will be devoted to expressing the theme of the workshop in watercolor, before a moment of return and sharing.

This Program is made up of 8 Workshops, which will take place on Tuesdays each week, lasting 50 minutes each from October to November 2024.

The first workshop will focus mainly on a few watercolour techniques and breathing techniques to encourage better meditations for the following workshops.
The following seven workshops will consist of discussions, a very short meditation and a longer time for the realization of their canvas.
We conclude with group feedback and sharing.

The act of sharing their feelings through watercolor is intended to be an unpretentious form of art therapy that will help them alleviate mental limitations and pave their way to a more harmonious development with themselves and those around them.

Prerequisites

None.

School equipment

• Several watercolor colors;

• Brushes of various sizes;

• Watercolor paper (the bigger, the better, because it’s easier for them to express themselves);

• Water pots;

• Ice cube tray or other to play with colors;

• A workbook to download and print will be shared with you.
